Job Description

We are currently in search of a highly motivated Program Manager who embraces challenges and thrives solving problems. The incumbent will possess exceptional communication and analytical skills and a drive for success. 

The mission of the Program Management group is to lead several teams through the coordinated execution of cross-functional initiatives ensuring things get done in a timely manner. 

As well, the incumbent will contribute to set standards and develop the program management framework that will be adopted at company level.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead planned initiatives from scoping through success
  • Create initiative charters and roadmaps, ensuring involvement of all stakeholders
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure proper execution of initiatives, facilitating their interaction through ad-hoc decisional frameworks
  • Deliver updates to top management and stakeholders, proactively informing them about challenges, risks, and opportunities
  • Handle all program-related communications through the company’s official channels, Slack and Workplace
  • Set program management standards and methodology for the entire organisation
  • Build rapport with all stakeholders across Tech, Product, Value Streams, supporting the organisation on ad-hoc needs
  • Support Value Streams/Business Platforms owners during internal Strategy Meetings to cascade company OKRs
  • Support Value Streams and Business Platforms owners in building business cases for their initiatives including budget requirements
  • Ensure alignment among Engineering Managers, Product Owners and stakeholders during the Roadmap Planning phase to create a backlog/roadmap
  • Keep JIRA tickets for the Value Streams/Business Platforms updated and aid in managing backlogs and visual roadmaps
  • Assist in the CAPEX management process for the Value Streams/Business Platforms

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology  or related fields
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholders
  • Excellent program management, planning, analytical skills 
  • Strong problem-solving skills: comfortable tackling complex problems and breaking these down into manageable pieces
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate, influence and adapt communication at different levels of the organisation
  • Knowledge of waterfall and agile required
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
