We are looking for a talented, high-energy team player to be part of the finance analytics team.
The candidate will support the Finance team from a reporting perspective and she/he will understand business/economic/environmental drivers of forecasted figures estimates versus accounting results. The ideal candidate should have both analytical and accounting skills.
Key responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of key performance drivers and issues relating to forecast and actual results ensuring key issues, risks and business drivers are understood and highlighted.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
Perform ad-hoc analysis with the aim to identify misalignment between the business view vs accounting actual data
Support decision making
Create the documentation of the existing processes
Understand the requirements and specifications of new projects, set up schedules, define sources and tasks, keep track of deadline and progress, collaborate with other team involved in the project
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, AFC or Management Engineering
1+ years relevant experience using strong analytical skills
Advanced working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT…)
Base knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Strong interpersonal skills - including written and oral communication skills - work on a ethic based and on a strong desire to exceed expectation
English proficiency, spoken and written
