Job Description

Jetcost is looking for a Media Analyst for its Media team.

The Media Analyst will support the team in the day by day workflow, helping improving the efficiency and profitability of web and app media products, and providing material to support data driven decisions to enhance media contribution to business performance.

Responsibilities include ensuring that media broadcasts meet established business objectives and requirements, performing all the programmatic optimization and troubleshooting,  delivering timely and precise data and analysis, providing actionable insights that help to optimise sales of inventory across programmatic channels, and helping with programmatic campaigns.

Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the digital advertising industry as well as knowledge of online ad technology, including third-party ad servers, Exchange/RTB platforms, SSP functionality, and industry trends. That expertise will be utilised to provide support at both the operational and analytic level for sell-side programmatic opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Jetcost publisher platforms (such as Google Ad Manager,  Adsense for Search, AdMob), optimising the programmatic performance through metrics analysis and testing
  • Maintaining and optimising yield, keeping a close eye on revenue impact and externalities over the product
  • Reporting data and performance on a regular basis across Metasearch properties
  • Identify opportunities for driving incremental revenues for media products
  • Communicate with various teams (teach, product, business strategy) to highlight any issues and make recommendations

Qualifications

Essential

  • Excellent knowledge of GAM and Google publisher stack
  • Understanding of programmatic ecosystem, experience with SSPs, familiar with key Digital Media concepts (CPM, CPC, CTR, and so on)
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills, ability to deliver clear and brief reports and presentations based on data
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Extremely data driven oriented
  • Good English communication skills – written and spoken

Desirable

  • 1/2 years of experience in digital advertising or media/publishing industry
  • Experience of selling programmatic advertising and trafficking experience
  • Experience with Analytics 360, SSPs Abilities/Qualities
  • Previous experience in the travel industry or in consulting
