We have a daily challenge, which is to reach more than 60 million unique users (in 17 languages ​​and 40 countries) who want to book and personalize their next travel experience. For this reason, we are looking for software engineers who are passionate about challenges, such as creating a modern, scalable and resistant platform.

As a Principal  Mobile Engineer, you will work on our next-generation mobile applications, a specific project critical to our customer’s needs. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new challenges across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll Spend Time On The Following:

  • Take part in the entire products lifecycle and strategy  (concept, design, test, release and support), collaborating with product managers and other engineers to create the best experience for our customers within our next-generation mobile applications
  • Create, maintain, and implement the source code to develop mobile apps and mobile platform programs that meet the needs and requirements of our products and customers
  • Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
  • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications
  • Understanding how our business works and how products add value to our customers
  • Understand how technology impacts our business and could be an enabler for our success
  • Learning and sharing experiences on new technologies and trends and how you can leverage them in current and future products
  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with others across the group
  • Mentor other engineers and be for them a point of reference

Qualifications

The Expertise You Have

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Mobile Apps
  • Proven iOS or Android development experience
  • Fluency with React Native (Typescript) framework
  • Knowledge of and experience with UI/UX design and development (custom views, interaction, etc.)
  • Experience working in a mobile team using agile and extreme programming methodologies
  • Prior experience mentoring and coaching teammates in a collaborative and team-based organisation
  • Analyse issues from multiple perspectives involving all relevant parties in identifying alternative solutions and making a decision
  • Fluent in English
